The Goal

Ninety-five percent of businesses cite the need to manage unstructured data as a problem for their business, and 80-90% of the data we generate today is unstructured. Examples of semi-structured data or unstructured data include Word, PDF, Email content, Zip files, Artificial Intelligence write-ups, and more. The majority of unstructured and semi-structured data is document data and cannot easily be saved in relational databases. This is our focus.

JSON Schemas never have to change

Our software converts unstructured and semi-structured document data to just plain data, eliminating text blobs forever. This allows the architects, designers, and developers to focus on building application features and user interfaces. When an application needs to add new features, approximately half of the effort to do so is eliminated with the use of JSON Databases. 

SQL Relational Databases

Our new technology merges the goodness of JSON with the power of SQL. Simple SQL insert queries can store JSON documents; and simple SQL select queries can retrieve and join JSON documents. This new technology makes JSON data fully accessible to the SQL relational algebra, and this JSON Database technology works in all SQL relational databases.

It’s easier than you may think

Our patented technology is exceptionally light-weight and can be installed into legacy data silos without disturbing existing operations. JSON DB tools can then insert their tendrils to export legacy data as JSON documents – opening the data to analysis and transformation using the available libraries of open-source JSON tools.

About Us

NewDay Database Technology, Inc. is an early-stage enterprise located in the Silicon Valley. We have developed technology and received the patent that we believe will remake the database market. Our technology will initially make a vast improvement in JSON SQL relational database management systems, a majority of the database market which is growing approximately 12% a year and expected to reach a value of over $122 billion by 2027. This growth is driven by the increasing data in social media, the rising e-commerce sector, and the high-tech industry.

CRM

Analyzing and managing customer interaction with your site makes the customer feel you know them and their needs. A good CRM system builds customer loyalty, increases sales, and drives profits. Emails from a customer is an example of semi-structured or unstructured data that makes it difficult to provide good service to the customer if you cannot access it.

Product Description

Providing product details that are currently buried in text is key to the customer being able to find the product on the website. It is frustrating for customers to enter search terms and be presented with items that are hardly related to what they want. Many key words are hidden in blobs and are not available because the descriptions are buried in Word or PDF documents. NewDay Technology makes the details readily available.

ERP

The ERP system encompasses almost all of the systems in the company, from HR and Accounting to Production, Resource Planning and Delivery to the customer. Mistakes happen, especially when data is not available. A complaint drafted by the customer support team while on the phone with a customer may provide important details in planning, delivery or production. Having access to document data is critical to the ERP details.

Supply Chain

Supply chain is critical and difficult to manage due to the number of outside providers involved. Having details of documents and agreements is required to drive supply chain success. Many outside documents are in Word or PDF format and stored as blobs, making it difficult to query for order instructions and agreement specifics.

Social Media Marketing

Currently 59.9% of the total world population use social media for about 2.5 hours each day, and text on social media posts consists of unstructured data. Collecting data from social media is the springboard for creating a customized marketing strategy for each social network to build brand, engage with existing customers and reach new ones. NewDay software will make a significant change in strategic and operational insights from social media.
